Setting Out on the Chamonix to Zermatt Haute Route April 2009
I am by no means an Haute Route veteran; I have traveled between Chamonix and Zermatt six or so times. There are a few classic itineraries and I have repeated several legs; yet every Haute Route I have set out on has been a very different journey.
